Learn German Through Art Private German Class (3 months)

1-hour private classes with the focus on conversation.

Flexible content depending on the needs and goals of the participant.

Payment is due in advance.

Classes can be cancelled (by email or phone) until 2 hours before the start of each class without charge. For a late cancellation (less than 2 hours until the start) the full amount is charged.

The fee includes the language material in a pdf format and access to the video library.

We will create art projects to support language learning.

Learn German Through Art Semi-Private German Class (6 months)

dialogue-based course focused on everyday conversations (workbook included)

interactive learning through role play

short art projects related to the topic for visualization and memorization (You don’t need to be an artist to enjoy this activity.)

This course is for you if:

you want to focus on speaking German to become an engaged participant in conversations

you want to participate actively in the classroom and know that it takes commitment to learn a language

you want to try drawing to visualize content for better memorization and faster learning

During each class, you will:

learn to communicate in everyday situations

learn new conversation skills, vocabulary and grammar in every lesson to a variety of topics

experience how simple sketches can help you visualize new vocabulary

Payment is due in advance.

Classes can be cancelled (by email or phone) until 2 hours before each class to reschedule the class. Late cancellations (less than 2 hours until the start) will result in a missed class without replacement option.

The Art of German Small Talk

starts August 22, 2022 CAN 97/person Registration deadline: August 21, 2022 This online programme will help you learn German playfully and practically to feel confident when you communicate with German speakers, whether in your circle of family and friends or during your vacation. The person across from you doesn’t care if you use the correct word or grammar but how you connect. The purpose of learning a language is to communicate. At the end of the course, you can introduce yourself, ask questions to get to know a person you meet and answer those questions. For five weeks, participants will receive a new module every Monday. At the end of each week, we will will meet for a one-hour session to practice, ask questions about the content and give feedback. The live classes are on Zoom on Thursday, August 25 at 1 pm, Friday, September 2 at 1 pm (due to a doctor's appointment on Thursday), Thursdays, September 8, 15 and 22 at 1 pm. Provided Materials:

Course material as pdf files with homework that the participants have to send to me

supporting exercises in the FB group

Who is the ideal participant? The programme is for novice learners who want to learn basic conversational German for pleasure (travel, talk to friends and family). There are no refunds. You have life-time access to the materials.
