To offer you more flexibility, here is the option of a half-pass which offers your child the participation in five of the ten classes. In this 10-week course, we will work with different mediums to help you expand your creative muscles. Dates: February 16 February 23 March 2 March 9 will be postponed March 16 March 23 March 30 no class April 6 April 13 April 20 April 27 We will draw, paint and create ripped paper and mixed media art. We will also use air-dry clay to create a sculpture. Let's flex those creative muscles! This course is for your child if :

you would like some guided art instruction for your child (children) in a variety of mediums

Semi-Private German Class

$180.00
Semi-private class with the focus on conversation, $45/person/hour.

Payment is due in advance for a block of four classes.

Classes can be cancelled (by email or phone) until 2 hours before the start of each class without charge. For a late cancellation (less than 2 hours until the start) the full amount is charged for the person who has to cancel.

If one person is not available for a semi-private class, the other person can either come for a 1/2 hour class or pay $70 for a private class.

The fee includes the language material in a pdf format.

During each session, you will :

learn needle felting basics

be guided in the creation of the project

This workshop is for you if you:

would like to learn how to needle felt

would like to learn to create needle felted paintings

enjoy learning in a small group

The materials can be ordered for example at www.fibregarden.ca or www.amazon.ca:

Felting needles (2 - 3 in case you break one, if possible one fine, two medium)

one foam pad or an old cushion

Wool rovings (about 30 g for each project): Felting Matrials for the March 2021

8" x 10" felt sheet for the base of the felted painting (suggestion: pink, purple or blue for the sunset, green for the flowers, blue or turquoise for the fish)

I will offer kits with all the materials. The kit will be $70 plus shipping. If you are interested in purchasing a felting kit for the session, we can also arrange porch pickup in Cumberland, ON. Registration Deadline is Thursday, March 11, 2021. If you have never felted before, getting a starter kit will provide you with everything you need. You can buy kits at both Amazon and the Fibre Garden. As we are creating little paintings, it does not matter that you will not have a lot of fibre in a specific colour. If you are looking for a nice variety of colours, I would recommend the following product: https://www.fibregarden.ca/product/corriedale-bag-of-nests-50-colours-500g/ which offers you 10g of each colour.
