Needle Felting DIY Classes and Club – More info to come in November
Later this year, I will start to offer material kits with online instructions that you can create in your own time and at your own speed. I will offer one 7” x 5” needle-felted painting for each season as single kits and as a set of four.
I plan to prepare a flower series and a landscape series. More info to come.
Create a needle-felted painting you will cherish on your own schedule and pace. Participants will be guided through the basics of needle felting, including blending wool and creating depth and detail.
By the end of the class, you will have created a unique needle-felted artwork and gained the skills and confidence to continue creating with wool at home.
No drawing or needle-felting experience is required.
During the session, you will:
- learn the basics of needle felting, including blending wool and creating depth and detail.
- receive a video to guide you step by step through the creation of the project
These classes are for you if you:
- want to learn or improve how to needle felt
- want to learn to create needle felted paintings
- enjoy learning on your own schedule
- enjoy the feel of soft wool
- look for a fun and relaxing hobby
Required Materials:
- Felting needles (2 in case you break one, medium and fine)
- One foam pad
- Wool rovings (different colours according to the subjects)
- four pieces of felt in the colours suitable for each project
